Engine Room
The engine room can be accessed through a watertight door in painted L. A. from the companionway for the crew quarters. It addition to the main engines and gen sets, this room also contains the air conditioning compressors, electric pumps, batteries, fresh water autoclave, automatic FM200 fire extinguisher system and all of the accessories relating to the propulsion units. Gen sets ? 2 X 2 / 23 kw 1200 hrs star + 400 hr port.
The main engine exhaust manifolds are made of insulated stainless steel; fiberglass mufflers are located in the bulwarks. The gen sets have independent exhaust manifolds with mufflers and smoke/water separators. Air intakes are positioned in the bulwarks to provide air flow, with a remote closure system whilst the engine room blowers allow a continuous change of air.
The lighting of this area is provided by watertight fixed explosion-proof neon lights. The bulkheads and overhead are covered with a sound absorbent fireproof closed cell material. All of the apparatus are labeled, as are the valves and manifolds to allow for easy identification. There is a watertight camera on the overhead connected with a 7? (16:9 LCD) monitor at the helm station, along with the sensors for the smoke alarm system.

Hygiene and Sanitation System
The fresh water tank is a structural fiberglass part of the boat. One autoclave with two pumps distributes the fresh water in order to provide a constant water pressure according to the appliance being used. The plant is provided with an outlet to distribute the fresh water directly from the dock.
The yacht has two fiberglass tanks (one at bow and one in the engine room) for collecting the grey water and a stainless-steel tank for the black water; both have their respective manually controlled pumps for the outboard discharge. The WC system uses fresh water and is connected up to the black water tank with an electric/manual discharge system and a level alarm.
A special discharge outlet is also positioned on the deck, for use in marinas where such a service is offered. The hot water is produced by two independent 220 V hot water heaters of 30 l. each. The hot and cold water distribution also runs to the fore locker and the outside transom shower. There are also two salt water outlets with ball gate valves on the deck for the fire extinguisher system.
All of the sea intakes, whether direct or leading to a manifold, can be cut off by ball valves with basket filters and identification labels.

Bilge System
Bilge drainage is guaranteed by electric pumps with manual controls in the engine room connected up to a manifold with rapid closure valves that allow for suction in all of the various areas aboard. In case of need, it is possible to connect the drainage system up to a twin pump that is usually used as a fire-fighting pump.
Each area of the bilge (bow and engine room) is fitted with a Rule 3800 immersed pump, and two automatic level sensors: the first triggers the pump and the second triggers an acoustic alarm. In the engine room there is a free drainage outlet with flexible tube. All of the gate valves are labeled for easy identification. Integrated into this system, the main engine sea water intakes are equipped with by pass valves that allow, in case of emergency, the engines themselves to discharge water from the engine room bilge.

Anti Corrosion and Cathodic Protection
The relevant metallic parts of the boat are connected together and with the zinc anodes; the zincs are installed near the immersed metallic parts. There are double zincs for added protection.

Electrical System
24 V service system: Utilizes regulation cables and is powered by 660 Amp/h lead batteries that are recharged by the port engine alternator or from three 80 Amp battery chargers powered by the generators or the shore power.
Engine starter system: Utilizes regulation cables and is powered by two lead battery groups that are paralleled to provide a total of 480 Amp/h that are recharged from the starboard engine alternator or from the battery chargers. A battery paralleling system allows, by means of the service batteries, the main engines to be started up even when the engine starter batteries are low.
220 V 60 Hz system: Powered by two 15.5 Kw 60 Hz Kohler generators or from the shore power. The circuits powered by this system are: the battery chargers, the boiler, the various electrical outlets, the electrical appliances in the galley, the air conditioning and television/Hi-Fi systems. There is also a 12 V system that is used for the navigational equipment, stereo systems, and anything else that does not run on 24 V.
The control panel for the appliances on board is located at the helm station and is equipped with toggle switches and digital gauges. The main power panel is located in the crew cabin companionway and is fitted with circuit breakers and fuses. A secondary power panel, with circuit breakers, is installed in the galley to allow direct control of the various household appliances installed. A 100 A shore power cable is included with smart Y and 100 amp / 50 amp pigtail
Isolation transformer.

The scope of supply and the technical characteristics of the engines are best described in the accompanying MTU specification sheets

Hydraulic pumps are coupled to the reduction gears for the Arneson steering system and the 24Kw bow thruster. In the event of main maneuvering system failures the boat is equipped with a secondary emergency steering system located in the cockpit. Propulsion is handled by two ASD 15 Arneson groups with hydraulic trim and steering.
